Meet Marshall

Marshall Moving Services is a locally-owned and run moving company headquartered in Bay St Louis, Mississippi with a second location in New Orleans, LA.

Owner Marshall Hoffman started MMS in 2016 after spending five years learning from the best- Nick Kolinsky of Nick's Ice House Moving in Hattiesburg.  While getting his Criminal Justice degree at USM, Marshall was also one of "Nick's Boys"; the last to be trained by Nick himself.  It was there that he learned the ins and outs of packing, loading, delivery and logistics from Nick's son, Buddy.  But more than how to run a business, what Marshall took away and applies in his own operation is how to take care of his customers and his employees.

Our Values

Operating largely on customer referrals, MMS strives to exceed expectations of our clients.  Our goal is to be the best moving company on the Coast and to achieve that we adhere to these tenets:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service

  2. Be flexible and accommodating

  3. Operate with honesty and integrity

  4. Treat each move as it's our own

  5. Do it right; make it right

  6. Follow Ziggy's lead- be loyal, hardworking, and never miss a chance to have fun.

"If anyone needs a moving service with the best professional customer service ever at a very reasonable price, this company is the one for you. We used Marshall for all types of moving services, loading a POD, loading their trailer and movement to our new temporary home over 80 miles away, assistance with wall prep for the new owners. There was nothing we asked that they would not do....and with no complaints and delays. You really can't go wrong with these guys. Marshall and his crew were a great pleasure to do business with. We will be calling them back when we move again in a year or so. That's for sure!!!"
